Support Families Separated by ICE
As part of our Season of Solidarity & Care, we’ve partnered with Vecinos Unidos to adopt families in Dallas affected by the terror of ICE.
Vecinos Unidos is stepping up. Let’s step up with them.
🚨 CALL TO ACTION: We Need Court Observers — ICE Is Back in Large Numbers 🚨
Right now, families are being forced to travel to the ICE Field Office for check-ins that often last hours, with many arriving hungry, exhausted, and terrified. Parents and children can go an entire day without food — and if someone is abducted during their appointment, they may be held without access to meals for even longer.
If you’ve completed the Vecinos Unidos orientation, now is the moment to step in. ICE has returned to the Dallas courthouse in force, and our immigrant and refugee neighbors urgently need witnesses on the ground. Your presence changes everything.
Court observing helps:Document illegal or abusive behavior
Protect families from intimidation
Hold ICE accountable through visibility and public records
Show our community that they are not alone
If you’ve been trained, please sign up HERE for a shift this week and help us maintain a consistent, watchful presence. If you haven’t attended a training session yet, but want to get involved, please email Emily at dr.castillo@vecinosunidosusa.org

Every meal, every dollar, every act of solidarity sends the message loud and clear: No one faces ICE alone. We take care of each other. Our neighbors are counting on us. Let’s show up with courage, solidarity, and love.
Please note that we are being careful to not provide identifying information. We can’t share any more details, but appreciate your care and support for these families in dire need in this season of love and generosity.
