Join the weekly Defend Democracy Protest

Longtime FEDDs volunteers began a weekly protest on March 9th, 2025 that has continued to grow and is now at noon on both Saturdays and Sundays, in 2 different locations, with over 100 people showing up. These fun, community-building protests give us an opportunity to put ourselves out there to show passers-by that they are not alone, and remind the public to speak up. ✌🏻

Join the weekly fun. Get outside with fellow citizens to take a stand against the authoritarian takeover of our country. As long as Trump’s in office, we’ll be showing up in opposition as proud members of The Resistance. ✌🏻

Saturdays, noon-1pm at Mockingbird & Abrams, near 6330 E Mockingbird Ln on the southwest corner, where the former JoAnn’s Fabrics was

Sundays, noon-1pm at Buckner & Garland, near 9409 Garland Rd on the northwest corner, where the Chase Bank is

Feel free to bring food drive or winter warmth donations anytime. We will make sure they reach a distribution point.
