The Scream & Boogie event was so fun and invigorating, we’re adding more community activities to get outside and move our bodies together. Join us for a group stretch, scream, and shoreline cleanup at White Rock Lake.
We’ll gather to stretch and scream out the stress, shake out the tension, and dance ourselves back to joy! Then we’ll pick up trash along the lakefront. It will feel good to get outside together and do something.
When: Sat, November 29th
Where: Dreyfuss Club Point - WR Lake, 600 E. Lawther
Time: 10:00 - 11:45 am (followed by the weekly Defend Democracy protest at noon at Mockingbird & Abrams)
We’ll have music and some waters, but feel free to bring treats to offer to share.
Why We Do This:
To release rage & fear, and reclaim joy as an act of resistance.
To build resilience & community, while we clean our lakefront.
To remind ourselves what we are fighting FOR, not just what we’re fighting against.
